The Seventh Annual HEAVENLY HOGS CHAMPIONSHIP BARBECUE CONTEST will pit cooking teams from the Mid-South against each other for the opportunity to be crowned as Grand Champion and go to the Memphis Barbecue Association World Championship Contest.

The event will take place Saturday, October 4 on the grounds of the historic Chapel of the Cross Episcopal Church just outside Madison, Mississippi.

Winners in five categories will take home cash prizes and trophies with the grand champion earning a spot in the World Championship Cookoff in Memphis during the annual Memphis in May International Festival.
