BUSINESS

Selection of Nominating Committee At-Large Members. Names of six parishoners were drawn as potential at-large members of the Nominating Committee. The names drawn were: Angela Rhemann, Nell Floyd, Nelwyn Madison, Emily Barfield, Joyce Aron, and Fran Armstrong. These persons will be asked to serve on the Committee, one-by-one, in order of the names drawn, until two people accept the positions. Ann Homer Cook reported that Trace Swartzfager has asked that someone else be selected as Treasurer for next year. The qualifications for Vestry members were discussed. Ann Homer Cook advised that anyone interested in being a Warden should let one of the Vestry members know of their interest so that the Nominating Committee can be made aware of same. Ann Homer Cook pointed out the importance of the new Vestry members and Wardens elected, especially since the Parish is at a critical time of growth.

The percentage of pledge cards turned in is good compared to previous years. The people who have not turned in pledge cards will be contacted and reminded to do so.
