Approval of Minutes. The January minutes were approved as distributed.

Treasurer's Report. Reports on the Preliminary Operating Budget - 2002, Operating Profit and Loss, January 2002, and Transactions by Account were distributed and discussed. Trace Swartzfager proposed going through February with the current unapproved budget and adjust the budget in March so it can be approved. Ann Homer Cook stated that she would like for the Finance Committee to get together after the numbers for February are in to revise the budget and possibly that budget could be approved for half the year. The Treasurer's Report was approved as submitted.

Consent Agenda. David Christian suggested that routine items be put on consent agendas for each meeting and, if there are no objections to the items on the consent agendas, those items would be approved unanimously. The items for the February consent agenda were discussed. Cathy Stroud made a motion that the consent agenda be approved. Linda Ross Aldy seconded the motion and it was approved unanimously.

Report from Organ Committee. Al Doty gave a report on the Organ Committee meetings to date. Handouts containing information regarding the organ were distributed and discussed. David Wilson distributed and discussed a drawing of the inside of the Chapel, as well as a memo from Britt Maxwell, P.E. regarding his suggestions for a floor load study report. After discussion, Al Doty made a motion to retain Britt Maxwell for floor analysis of the Chapel. Cathy Stroud seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously.

Discussion of Planned Parish Hall Art. Don Long distributed handouts and gave a presentation on the background and development of the Tree of Life art for the Parish Hall. He also gave an update on the progress and proposed completion date.

Ann Homer Cook asked that the Commissioners provide a list of the Committee Chairpersons. She also suggested that the Commissioners send thank you notes to those people leaving their positions.

Ann Homer Cook asked that the Vestry members review the items brought up at the February 10, 2002 listening forum and prepare reports to be presented at the next listening forum.

The dates for the Search Committee Retreat are March 15 and 16, 2002.

Linda Ross Aldy made a motion that the meeting be adjourned.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 p.m. with prayer.
