Two
of the questions asked in The Baptismal Covenant of our Holy Baptism
service are:
- Will
you seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor
as yourself?
- Will
you strive for justice and peace among all people, and respect
the dignity of every human being?

The
Servant Ministry Committee strives to expand the Chapel's presence
in the community while responding to the traditional and new outreach
concerns brought to the group by members of the parish. This committee
provides numerous ways to help us live out our Baptismal Covenant
promises. Click here for details
on the current projects which need your assistance.
The committee continues to find that the
more it does, the more it becomes blessed with increased energy
and resources from the parish.
Committee
vision: "The Servant Ministry Committee believes that the abundant
support we receive from our parishioners, vestry and ordained leaders
is a fulfillment of Christ's purposes for the Chapel of the Cross.
We hope to serve these purposes in a way that strengthens the Chapel
as an institution and empowers each of our parishioners to honor
the tenets of our Baptismal Covenant."
